Kim Wilde

Kim Wilde is one of the most famous British pop stars, whose career saw her perform to over 2 million people on a five month European stadium tour with Michael Jackson, after which she went on to support David Bowie across Europe on his 1990 Greatest Hits Tour. Kim’s first single release Kids In America in 1981 was a worldwide hit that started her career which then saw her release 10 albums, over 30 singles with sales of over 20 million around the world. In 1983, Kim was voted Best British Female Singer at the BPI Awards.

Kim has also hosted her own weekly radio show for the last 5 years on the UK’s number one London commercial radio station Magic 105.4. In 2013, Kim re-released her 1988 album Closer which includes a foreword by Kim and sleeve notes from the acclaimed music critic Simon Price.
