To promote and generate awareness for the Marsh Family’s Christmas charity single.
What we did
We created a press release that highlighted the Marsh Family and their unique selling points including their huge social media following. We helped organise a photo shoot to ensure a strong package of photos were available as part of the media package of assets.
We also created a further press announcement that highlighted the bookies stats to help generate excitement around the single and push for a Christmas number one.
We carefully pitched to a wide range of media to ensure maximum exposure and reach.
We secured coverage on BBC 1’s Morning Live, where the family performed live and were interviewed about their single. We also secured an interview on BBC South East News, where the family were able to discuss the single live from their home. We also secured radio coverage on BBC Radio 4 ‘Saturday Live’, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Berks and a live performance on BBC Radio Kent.
We negotiated an exclusive interview feature with New Magazine which focused on the charity and health angle of the story. We secured an exclusive package that saw coverage in New Magazine, Daily Mirror and OK! Magazine’s website. We offered the video premiere to OK! Magazine’s website as part of the exclusive feature deal. This was pushed on their homepage and social media networks which saw the coverage reach 1,843,913 followers on Twitter and 521,9k followers across Facebook.
