Launching Live Odyssey

Task

Live Odyssey appointed us to launch a brand-new immersive music attraction in Camden, London.

The experience takes visitors on a 90-minute journey through the history of British music, featuring interactive exhibitions, era-themed rooms, themed bars, live music performances, exclusive memorabilia and a cutting-edge hologram show.

Our objective was to build awareness ahead of opening, establish Live Odyssey as a major new cultural destination, secure high-profile national media coverage, and drive consumer interest across music, entertainment and London lifestyle audiences.

What We Did

We developed and executed a multi-phase PR campaign designed to generate sustained momentum in the months leading up to launch.

The campaign centred around the attraction’s unique concept, exclusive exhibits and access to key spokespeople, including Julia Baird, resulting in a mix of news stories, interviews, previews, listings, features and broadcast appearances.

Key activity included:

  • Securing exclusive features and interviews with national media, including The Telegraph, NME and Express.
  • Delivering a nationwide broadcast campaign featuring Julia Baird across Sky News Breakfast, BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme, BBC Radio London and multiple BBC regional stations.
  • Generating extensive launch coverage across music, entertainment, culture and London lifestyle media.
  • Managing media relations around key announcements, including stories linked to John Lennon and exclusive attraction content.
  • Organising and hosting a dedicated media preview and launch event for journalists, broadcasters, reviewers and influencers.
  • Coordinating attendance from key media including The Telegraph, NME, Record Collector, BBC Radio London, Metal Talk, Total Rock Radio and leading freelance journalists.

The campaign secured widespread coverage across national, regional, consumer and specialist media, positioning Live Odyssey as one of London’s most talked-about new visitor attractions.
