The Postman – Tony Wilson mural unveiling

Task

To secure local media coverage in Manchester for the unveiling of a new piece of street art celebrating the late Tony Wilson.

What we did

Delivered a targeted release to Manchester local media, using this approach to ensure it was covered in an impactful but respectful way. We also invited media to attend the launch event

Results 

With a full house of media including ITV Granda, BBC North West, Manchester TV, Manchester Evening News and BBC Radio Manchester covering the unveiling the media call was a resounding success. We also secured news stories across many north centric publications.
