Catherine Bohart

Catherine Bohart is a comedian, writer and actor. She started performing stand-up in 2015 and since then has enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks of UK and Irish comedy. In 2016, she was a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Women.

Also in 2016, she and fellow comic Cally Beaton performed their show Catcall for a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe, enjoying packed houses and a series of stellar reviews. She has since gigged for some of the best clubs in the country and last year performed as part of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe. This year has already seen her as tour support for Ellie Taylor and she make the final of the Mercury Leicester Comedy Festival Comedian Of The Year.

As well as her work as a stand-up, Catherine is also a trained actor having studied an MA in Acting for Screen at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her burgeoning broadcasting career has already seen her write material for The Mash Report (BBC2) as well as for Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz, Newsjack and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.
